Last December, my family moved from Wichita Falls, TX to Knoxville, TN. A little over a year ago, God put Knoxville on our hearts. Within a few months, God moved us right where He wanted us.
Here's the short version of our move :

Of course, I had to document Maddox's first flight... at like 6AM!
He did such a great job traveling. Also, I captured the prettiest window view of this house on so much land and beautiful green trees that just screamed Tennessee.

This is the last picture in front of our house on Singleton Avenue. We tried to sell this house in September of 2017 and couldn't sell it. Then, we found out I was pregnant with Maddox! God has everything planned out ... and it's so much better than we can ever dream. We loved this house - our first house that we bought together and the house we brought Maddox home to right after he was born.

The last night with our sweet Oneighty Students.
Emotional, yet encouraging.
Also, the night before my birthday.

The big day of our big move. My husband, Casey, drove in his car with our two golden doodles and his best friend, Leland (owner of Xylo Bats). I drove our mini van with the baby and good friend, Rachel (Leland's wife). We are soo grateful for these friends to travel with us (the drive was 14 hours plus stops)!
This was also my birthday. And we had to get up at 4:00am to pack, feed the baby, and pick up our amazing friends from their house!

The first few days after the move were sooo long, but so good to spend with our friends, Rachel & Leland! We still love this spot downtown.

In the past 10 months, we have loved ministering to Concord Students and being a part of First Baptist Concord in Knoxville, TN.
Hope you learned something new about my family! We absolutely love it here in TN, yet still miss family and a few other things back in TX (like Whataburger... hah!)
